4. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
4 . 1 I n t r o d u c t i o n . In order to properly prepare an SRS for Inductors, it
i s necessary to use DOD-STD-35 in conjunction with this dash-numbered part.
I n the event the instructions or the writing methodology are not followed,
a n AEDPS edit routine will print error messages rather than the desired
MSE document.

D O D - S T D - 3 5 are applicable to Inductors.

Configuration.
4 . 3 . 1 D i m e n s i o n s . S R S requirements for dimensions described in DOD-STD-35
are applicable to Inductors.
4 . 3 . 2 I l l u s t r a t i o n s . Illustrations applicable to Inductors are contained
i n Appendix A to this document.
4.4 Units of measure. The International System of Units (SI) or inch-
pound units (U.S.), may be used to specify characteristics (e.g. weight,
dimensions).
R e f e r to ASTME380 for guidance in using SI. However, when
different units of measure are available for specifying a characteristic,
only one may be used. B o t h units of measure cannot appear in the same MSE.
